Grounds is a boutique hospitality services company founded by Elias Papastergiou, dedicated to bridging the gap between hotel owners and guests through tailored solutions that enhance the overall hospitality experience. Serving high-end clients, including hotels in some of Greece's most exclusive destinations such as Santorini, Lefkada, and Athens, Grounds brings a sophisticated touch to the world of hospitality. The name Grounds carries multiple layers of meaning. On one level, it references the architectural grounds of a hotel, the blueprint, the design, and the physical space that forms the foundation of a great hospitality experience. On another level, Grounds plays with the concept of "common ground", the space where hotel owners and guests meet and connect. This subtle play on words highlights the company’s goal of creating a connection between the service providers and the people they serve.
The visual language was crafted in a way to ensure it would reflect the exclusive and personalized nature of the services provided. A key element of the design is the use of a bright, vibrant blue, a color that not only references the company’s Greek origins but also evokes feelings of trust, tranquility, and luxury, which are essential to the brand’s values.
Additionally, we created a distinctive symbol that represents the simplified floor plan of a hotel room with an open door, which simultaneously forms the letter "G." This symbol visually connects the company’s role in providing seamless, welcoming hospitality with the idea of opening doors, both literally and metaphorically, for hotel owners and guests. The design of this symbol further reinforces the brand’s connection to hospitality, as well as its focus on creating new opportunities and experiences.
